Roze Room Hospice cares for people with a limited life expectancy and their families at whatever location the patient calls home, whether that is a private home, a nursing facility, a board and care home, or an assisted living facility. An interdisciplinary team of physicians, registered nurses, social workers, home health aides, spiritual counselors, therapists, dietitians and volunteers builds a plan of care for comfort, and the program provides the medications, medical supplies, and equipment, such as a hospital bed, wheelchair, or oxygen, needed for pain relief and symptom management. Families can start with a hospice consultation in person or by phone or email, reach the team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and receive bereavement counseling after a loved one dies. Roze Room also offers palliative care and family and caregiver support for people living with serious illness.
